 The Route

 Be Prepared

  • Although there will be checkpoints and snowmobile safety patrols, it is each entrant’s responsibility to be well prepared for adverse conditions. Most of the route is on exposed lakes where conditions can deteriorate quickly. The trail will be marked, but white out conditions can occur suddenly and reduce visibility to zero. Therefore all skiers may consider carrying:
  • extra clothing, route map will be provided, high energy trail food and fluids
