- As a touring bike tire of this caliber, the Marathon Mondial also has to impress on the road as well as rough terrain. We address this with an optimal balance of smooth running and durability. The Marathon Mondial rolls smoothly on asphalt but also offers extreme load capacity for heavy luggage for off-road use - up to 150 kilograms total weight.
- The Marathon Mondial benefits from our MTB know-how in its tread pattern: Its prominent shoulder lugs are equipped with little grooves, which spread out to allow the lugs to bite into the surface better. This provides stability on loose terrain, round corners and in the wet. The running surface also consists of wide, smooth blocks which roll perfectly on asphalt.
